Meeting point at the Parador de los Reyes Católicos in Santiago de Compostelaat 12.00h. After the reception, we will make a visit to the historic center of this city, a goal of pilgrims for a thousand years, which treasures countless artistic jewels headed by its splendid cathedral. After lunch our luxury bus will take us to Ferrol, where El Transcantábrico awaits. Upon arrival, the crew will offer us a welcome toast, as the train travels to Viveiro. Tour through this beautiful old town, where we will dine and spend the night on board.
We will startthe morning, as every day, enjoying our delicious a la carte breakfast and buffet. The Transcantábrico will bring us closer to Ribadeo, a historic Galician villa bordering the Principality of Asturias. From here we will travel by bus through the Oscos-Eo region, a biosphere reserve, until we reach Taramundi, an authentic natural theme park where water is the main protagonist. We will visit Os Castros and Texois, one of the best ethnographic groups in the world, also based on water. Lunch followed by free time. At the scheduled time, return to Ribadeo where we will have dinner and stay overnight.
After breakfastwe will start the day with a panoramic tour of Ribadeo and we will go to the beach of Las Catedrales, one of the most spectacular in the world. Back to Ribadeo for lunch and then, back in our train, we will head to Luarca, the Villa Blanca of the Costa Verde. Arrival, visit, dinner and stay overnight.
While we enjoy our last breakfast on our train we will arrive in Oviedo, Capital of the Principality of Asturias. There we will say goodbye to our train and its wonderful crew. We will visit Oviedo and, in our luxurious coach, we will go to Gijón. We will have lunch at the NP Molino Viejo in Gijón. This is where the trip will end, around 4:30 p.m., after lunch.
