Special Trip Train from Oviedo to Bilbao

Route

Day 1: Wednesday Oviedo - Picos de Europa - Llanes

Reception aboard the magnificent Costa Verde Express at the Oviedo station at 10:00 a.m. We will visit the historic center of Oviedo, capital of the Principality of Asturias. Food on board the train. Arrival in Arriondas and, in a luxury coach, travel to the Picos de Europa to visit the Covadonga Lakes, the Sanctuary, and Cangas de Onís, which was the first Spanish capital after the reconquest. After the visit we will go to Llanes for dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Thursday Llanes - Santillana - Santander

During breakfast, the train will arrive at Cabezón de la Sal, from where we will travel by coach to visit the Neo-cave of Altamira, a museum and faithful reproduction of this greatest exponent of Upper Paleolithic art. Santillana del Mar, with its magnificently preserved medieval historic center, will be our next stop. Lunch. Return to our train to travel to Santander, the elegant Cantabrian capital, for a guided visit, spare time, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Friday Santander - Bilbao

During breakfast, the Costa Verde Express will arrive to Bilbao, where we will farewell the train and the crew. Visit of this young and lively city and the famous Guggenheim Museum, symbol of the new Bilbao, reinvented after the decline of its traditional heavy industry. After the visit, the trip will finish at approximately 14:00 at La Concordia station.
