1. Day 1: Friday Our journey begins in Istanbul

The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, with its gleaming blue and gold cars, awaits you at Istanbul station to begin its historic journey to Paris.

Time to settle into your cabin and discover the train that has already begun its journey.

The first social event will be dinner, an event full of luxury, both for the dishes prepared on board by our expert chefs and for the magnificent decoration of the restaurant cars, not to mention the soothing melodies played by our pianist.

Later you can move on to the bar car '3674' to continue listening to the pianist on his baby grand piano and start meeting other passengers.

When you decide to retire for the night you will discover that your cabin has been transformed into a cozy bedroom.

While you rest, the train crosses into Bulgaria.

  2. Day 2: Saturday From Bulgaria to Romania

Start the day with a delicious continental breakfast, served in your cabin, as the train travels through Bulgaria and Romania. Enjoy the landscapes or talk to other travelers and, later, return to one of the dining cars for a magnific brunch.

When our train arrives in Bucharest we will take a bus tour of the city before heading to the Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel (or similar, depending on availability), where you will spend the night. Dinner will take place in a private location, with a casual dress code.

  3. Day 3: Sunday Peles Castle

In the morning, board the train again for a delicious brunch as your journey continues to the mountain village of Sinaia. There disembark to visit the magnificent Peles Castle, once the home of former King Carol. The castle was also visited by the first guests of the Orient Express in October 1883, at the personal invitation of the king.

You will return to the train in the late afternoon for a relaxing journey to Hungary. Enjoy another delicious dinner and overnight stay on board.
